A donation to the Kiddush Fund has been made by Ed and Shelley Stopek in honor of the birth of a granddaughter, born to Rabbi Ilan and Leora Heifetz.
Times For Davening for the coming week: • Mincha Shabbat is at 2:00 and 6:55 PM • Mincha this week is at 7:00 PM followed by Maariv • Selichot tonight is at 10:30 PM • Selichot and Shacharit on Sunday, and Monday, Labor Day is at 7:55 and 8:30 AM • Selichot followed by Shacharit on Tuesday is at 6:00 and 6:45 AM • Selichot followed by Shacharit on Wednesday morning, Erev Rosh Hashanah will be at 5:30 and 6:15 AM • The late Maariv is at 9:45 PM followed by Selichot The complete list of davening times for Yuntif is posted in the hallway
The following Shiurim and classes will take place this coming week: • Our regularly scheduled Shabbat afternoon Shiur will meet today at 5:00 PM. This week’s speaker is Rabbi Michael Teitcher, Fellow YU Torah Mitzion Kollel • Rabbi Matanky’s Gemara Shiur, will meet today at 6:10 PM. • The Parsha Shiur, given by Rabbi Michael Myers will meet next week at 8:30 AM • Rabbi Matanky’s Sunday morning shiur in Navi will NOT meet this week • Rabbi Kroll’s Sunday morning breakfast series will NOT meet this week • Weekday mornings - Shiur 5:50 AM “The Jewish Family in Halacha” • Weekdays – Rabbi Kroll’s shiur for men in Halacha and Chumash, will only meet on Tuesday this week • Rabbi Kroll’s Wednesday evening shiur will not meet this week • YU Torah MiTzion Kollel shiurim and night seder meets every weeknight from 8:00 – 9:45 PM Upcoming Community Events: • September 4 - YU Torah Mitzion Pre-Selichot Workshop at KINS begins at 9:45 PM. • September 5 - 9:30 am - Religious Zionists of Chicago, Bnei Akiva, Camp Moshava, and YU Torah MiTzion Kollel will hold the 8th Annual Yom Iyun in memory of Yaakov Levi Matanky, z’l.
