KINS MEZUZAH PROJECT
In Memory of Avi Karesh z”l
We are pleased to announce that the dedication for the KINS Mezuzah Project in Memory of Avi Karesh, z”l, will take place at the shul on Saturday evening, September 21, 2019 at 10:00 PM, followed by Selichot.
The KINS Mezuzah Project has enabled us to install a beautiful new mezuzah on each of the approximately seventy (70) doorways in our shul building. Avi lit up every room he entered, sharing his love of friends and family with those he encountered, and we are honored that the Karesh and Amster families have allowed KINS to remember Avi with this meaningful initiative. We are very fortunate to have a building that is not only our makom tefilla v’Torah, but a benefit to the community, hosting the YU Torah MiTzion Kollel, Momma Chef’s Soup Kitchen, weddings, smachot, concerts, and many other events throughout the entire year. In addition to remembering Avi, the KINS Mezuzah Project continues to offer an excellent opportunity to give back to the shul, while honoring or remembering a loved one or marking a special occasion.
There are still a few locations available to be sponsored. The remaining available dedication opportunities are listed below. All donations can be made via credit card or check in the office, or via credit card at www.congkins.org. The remaining available mezuzot are listed below. All requested mezuzah locations will be reserved in the order in which they are received; the list will be updated online weekly. Following your submission, you will receive an email from a member of the committee to confirm the availability of the mezuzah location and your sponsorship. No submission is complete without this confirmation.
